So what do you think?
Know the Value of the Cards.
Cards two to ten count as their face value so there’d be no problems there, right? Think of the Ace however as a split personality – it sometimes passes itself as one and other times, it counts itself as an eleven. But it’s up to you how you want to count the ace. And lastly, the face cards are all equal to 10. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that face cards in blackjack count the same as they do in baccarat. It would be a very, very big mistake – as you’d find out sooner or later – if you count face cards as zero.
The Goal of the Game
Always pray for a Blackjack or a Twenty-One. That is the best number in the game. But failing that, pray that anything that’s close to 21. Never, however, pray for cards that go OVER 21 because that’s immediately going to kill your hand for that round.
In other words, you lose.
Dealers and Players
It’s important to remember that your hand will only be pitted against the dealer’s hand and not the other players’. So don’t give them bad looks if they’re experiencing good luck. It’s all about you versus the dealer – that’s it!
First Two Cards
The dealer and players shall have two cards at the first round. If your first two cards equal Twenty-One, you automatically win!
Hitting or Standing
There are only two moves you can make in blackjack: hit or stand.
When you hit, you’re going to draw an additional card from the deck in hopes of improving the value of your hand.
When you stand, it means that, for better or for worse, you find yourself content with the value of your hand.
Tipping
Don’t forget to tip the dealer when you win. People who tip frequently are usually blessed more often as well!
